1 Austin, Alberta Ne' Ho Ni Yo De No That's What It Was Like (2 Volume set)
Lackawanna, New York Rebco Enterprises Inc. 1986 First Edition/Second Edition Soft Cover Near Fine 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
Very crisp, clean, beautiful books. Volume II shows a small abrasion from a former price ticker to front, but is otherwise without fault. Covers, pages, and page edges pristine. These are scarce and important books developed as part of the Seneca Curriculum Project in New York State. A la the Foxfire books which printed interviews and stories from Appalachia, these focus on the Indians of New York with the tribal elders telling their stories. Both books provide much material for understanding the culture and the history of the time, but volume II is especially interesting in that it zeroes in on the experiences of school children attending Caucasian schools during the early part of thr 20th century. Photo of each contributor, plus maps and drawings. Volume I is a first edition, volume II second. 534 collective pages.

6 Matthews, Caitlin The Blessing Seed: A Creation Myth for the New Millennium
Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Barefoot Books 1998 1901223280 / 9781901223286 First Editon Hard Cover Very Good Very Good 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall Dexter, Allison
Very nice copy of the very elusive hardcover first editon. Book is clean as a whistle inside and out. Only fault to book itself is former owner's name written small at upper right corner of half title page. Dustjacket is likewise nice and clean with just one small tear to upper rear edge. Has not been price-clipped and is most handsome in brand new mylar. Gorgeous, bright primitve art is perfect for this retelling of the Creation story of Adam and Eve with a gentler emphasis. The author is a well knonw expert in the field of mythology, particularly Celtic. A children's book for grownups too.
