The Chelsea Collection of Severin Wunderman (auction catalog) London Bonhams 2009 Soft Cover Fine 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall Very high quality auction catalog presented on quality coated paper and lavishly illustrated with color photographs which show sumptuous room overviews in addition to close-ups of specific items. Clean as a whistle with no names or writing and no spine crease. Auction was held in London on June 30, 2009 and consisted of very fine funiture, art, decorative accessories, walking sticks, and lighting fixtures, as well as a magical collection of glass newel post finials. Wonderful bio of Wunderman who began as a chaffeur and ultimately became a force in the watch industry. His crowning success was in bringing the Gucci watch franchise from a virtual nonentity to the best selling brand, the first to put diamond settings on stainless steel cases. Interesting and beautiful collection with a sly hint of the macabre. 132 pages.
