Bearing Gifts From the Seven Seas (National Geographic Catalog 1928) Washington D.C, National Geographic Society 1928 Soft Cover Very Good Charming graphics and nice clean condition make this vintage catalog a worthy addition to an ephemera collection. It's printed in black on cream paper with a stapled binding and has 22 pages of books, panoramas (framed and unframed), and maps "for old and young". Each offering is accompanied by a small photo, plus the price, and each page is also decorated with small drawings. There is an unused order blank bound in at the center which shows a small bit of rust to staples, but otherwise catalog is without fault. This order blank is attached with staples showing so it could easily be removed, but it interrupts a two-page spread and has additional advertising on each side! A sampling of offerings include Horses of the World by Major Gen. William Harding Carter with original oil paintings by Edward Herbert Miner; and a sepia photogravure of a Romanian girl both unframed and framed. A small gem!
