Booklet measures 5-1/2"x 8" and covers all of the items in the title, plus the manufacture and use of traps, snares, nets, baits etc., as well as full instructions for preserving, tanning and dyeing skins and furs. 51 dense pages.

But we have additional items as well, all owned by the same collector to include: an order blank for students to buy supplies, a 1949 ad which offers special deals for boys under 16; a coupon for a discount; a special application for younger boys; a "personal message" from school founder J.R. Elwood; a payment notice; an envelope with the school's attractive logo and canceled stamp; a second envelope (unused) for student to send a message to Elwood; and a 1949 letter to friends and students from Elwood. Everything clean and nice. Like most mail order courses of the day, Northwest fell into disfavor eventually. But interesting nonetheless!
