The first edition came out in 18990 -- this is the second printing of 1991.

What a pleasure too find the Kredel book replete with the letter in booklet form by Mary Lee Ware accompanying it, as both pieces are complimentary, but not normally found together. The two offerings tell the story of the amazing glass flowers created by father and son artists and naturalists, Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka, who made them between 1887 and 1936 in Dresden. The entire collection was a gift to Harvard University by Mrs. Elizabeth Ware and her daughter, Mary Lee Ware, as a memorial to Dr. Charles Eliot Ware, a member of the class of 1834. The book "Glass Flowers In the Ware Collection" contains 16 color plates featuring the insect pollination series along with notes on each. Book is clean and tightly bound with an almost perfect dustjacket. An altogether lovely set.Book measuees 6" x 9" and has 58 pages.

The book is also a numbered limited edition of 500 (this one is #449) and is SIGNED by the author with no inscription. the many chapters are divided into three sections: Daggers of the Political Formations; Daggers of the Civil and National Governmental Agencies; and Daggers, Byaonets, and fighting Knives of the Military Arm.

A complete catalog of cast coins over a period of 900 years grouped by inscription and mintmark.Each coin is also identified by catalog number, date, denomination and place of issue.Includes test coins, patterns and commemoratives as well as the first catalog of Horse Warrants. At back there is also a Chinese-Korean-English dictionary of characters on Korean coins and charms.

Very nice clean booklet with no spine crease and no names or writing other than the author's signature which was written with no inscription. Also on the acknowledgement page is a statement that the print run was limited to 1000 books, of which this one is numbered 387 (see photo). The booklet provides descriptions of 401 "tinnies" known also as propaganda badges. The second section shows photographs that match the numbers on the descriptions. Booklet measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Only fault is a small bit of rubbing to front cover -- you can see it on the first picture.

This is an out of print book which is fairly hard to find. It's a booklet in hard covers SIGNED by both collectors on the title page.The collection of Jackson scenes cover an era from circa 1902 into the 1950's, though about 90 per cent of the views pre-date 1920. The cards are beautiful, saturated with color, plus a few black and white cards too, but very few of those. There's also descriptions written by Carl McIntire to augment the 149 cards.

Every pages of this book offers photographs,in color for the uniforms and other collectibles, and black and white for military history. Contents include : United States, United Kingdom, British Dominions and Colonies, Soviet Union, France and other Allied Nations. NOTE: There is no printed price on either jacket flaps.

Two very nice, clean exhibit catalogs, both featuring the collection of John and Janet Simmermaker of Winnemac, Indiana. Both catalogs were printed to accompany displays at the Conner Prairie Pioneer Settlement. Wove in Indiana was for the December 1978 event. It has 28 counted pages with beautiful photos printed in blue ink, a common color used for Jacquard coverlets which are the product of a loom that used a series of cards (like IBM cards) to make the distinctive pictorial designs The second catalog, Fancy Weaving, accompanied a display in 1981. This one has less pages (13) and less photos, but describes 78 coverlets in the collection.Information about the craft itself is in the larger book.

At the back you will find tsuba plates and their descriptions. Booklet measures 8-1/2" x 11-1/2 and has no names or writing. Not often seen.

This is a very nice find -- a completed cigarette card album filled with pristine cigarette cards issued by John Player & Sons, a branch of the Imperial Tobacco Company of Great Britain and Ireland. Measures 5" tall by 7-1/2" wide. Covers show a few small light stains to back and some light spots to front , but are still quite pleasing with a brown and red drawing against cream colored cardstock at front. Pages show small tear at top to several, but are clean and completely filled in.. Cards feature various instructional images to match explanatory material designed to help young players with their game. Nice piece of ephemera for the cigarette card collector. 18 pages with three cards per page except for last page which has two. Complete.
