Very clean book. Front hinge is starting, especially at top, but is still holding well. Atttractive raised bands to spine and nice red paisley endpapers (small chip to side edge of front free endpaper). Outer edges of text block paisley as well.. Back board shows scuffing. Pages very clean wth just a few spots of foxing at illustrations and map. Fold-out map is crisp and without tears, A massive history of th town. 725 pages, including index.
