Crisp, beautiful copy. Book itself is as new -- clean as a whistle with pristine pages and page edges. Dustjacket is likewise crisp and clean. Only faults are crease at corner of rear endflap and a very tiny tear at bottom edge , but almost invisible in brand new mylar cover. Handsome map endpapers. Photo illustrated. A personal detailed account which graphically explains the cost of WWII in terms of human suffering. The author was 19 years old and a member of Patton's Raiders. 372 pages.
