No edition stated. Near fine book which sports only one little glitch at rear endpapers likely caused during printing. Difficult to describe, but there is one small section, less than half an inch long, that pops up when book is opened. It in no way compromises the integrity of the binding, however. Small, neat gift inscription at top of front free endpaper. DJ is in fine condition, protected with mylar. Great endpapers, both front and back. Ships. Seafaring. Boats. Gorgeous color photos and wonderfully rendered drawings add visual appeal and clarity to a text which discusses the history of sea-going vessels and the men who designed them. Covers ships under oar, sail and steam with an international focus.
