Book itself is beautiful -- crisp and clean with no names or writing and and highly ornamented blue boards. Only fault is a bit of gilt loss to top edge. Jacket darkened at spine, but is otherwise crisp and fresh in brand new mylar. Illustrated. Though part of the enormous Chronicles of America series, book is a stand-alone title. which discusses, among other topics, Roosevelt in the New York assembly, Civil Service reform, Roosevelt as president, the Square Deal, reclamation and conservation and the Taft Administration.289 pages. Numerous volumes from the Chronicles of America set available.
