Such a lovely book and the nicest copy that's ever turned up. Green boards with crisp bright gilt to face and bright paste-on art featuring purple iris. No dustjacket, but this series is too pretty to cover up anyhow. Pages are white and clean with no writing anywhere and spine is tight and true. Only defect is just a hint of fading to gilt at spine. Arranged by season, including winter, as many flowers can bloom indoors. Sixteen pages of black and white illustrations and twenty-pfour pages in full color. 311 pages. Indexed. Two like copies available.
