1 Sanfield, Steve The Girl Who Wanted a Song
New York Harcourt Childrens Books 1996 0152009698 / 9780152009694 First Printing Hard Cover Fine Very Good Johnson, Stephen T.
Very nice copy -- very clean and tightly bound. Book has no writing or faults. Dustjacket has one tiny tear and a small bit of wrinkling to upper front corner near spine, but it is virtually invisible in brand new protective mylar. The art is wonderful, so evocative of the magic of storytelling, and Sanfield's tale, which is based on the Ten Oxherding Pictures of Zen Buddhism, is pure enchantment. Tells the story of a lonely little girl and the goose she befriends.
