Photo illustrated in black and white. Fourteen tours offered with complete itinerary. Great travel ads. Measures 6"x8-3.4". Bright yellow, red and black cover art. Small bit of wear to spine only fault -- does not compromise integrity of binding.

Very clean folding map of the northeastern states (USA) rendered in an attractive black and white. No tears tofolds and paper is very crisp. Retains original folder which is very much intact, but has faded at edges and shows wear and small tears along outer left edge. Overall quite nice though. Map is qyuite large, but is accordion folded. Accroding to the instructions o use you need only turn the folds as you would the leaves of a book.

A few tiny tears to bottom edge likewise repaired and are barely noticeable. Caralog is in full color and has a fold-out for each of the four models. Much information and very high-end presentation.

Wonderful wartime report from Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing covering all aspects of the business including power generation; power distribution; precessing items such as metals, coal, rock products, cement, forest products, pretroleum, rubber, chemicals, food, and solvent oil; industrial; construction and agriculture; and transportation. The book is oversized at 8-1/2"x11". Minor stubborn soil to spine and a few wrinkles there, likely endemic to the publishing process, but otherwise clean and tightly bound. There is also a letter laid-in to accompany it.The book does have text, but it's the photographs and technical drawings that command your attention. VERY nice and not commonly found.

Each is pictured, most in black and white, but there are also eight full pages of color photos showing multiple items, as well as color photos inside both the front and back covers.

Very nice, clean, tighly bound program issued for the commissioing of the U.S.S. Robert E. Peary at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington September 23, 1972. Measures 8" tall by 10-1/2" long and has 40 pages. Aside from toning to edges of cream card cover at front and overall at back, is is very clean and tightly bound with pristine pages. Attractive red, white and blue cover design and numerous photos of the ship and crew inside, as well, as pictures of Rear Admiral and adventurer Robert E. Peary for whom it was named. Much history about Peary, as well as stats and info on the ship which was decommissioned on August 7, 1992, struck from the navy list on November 11,1995 and transferred to the Republic of China.

The booklet was published by the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce in hopes of attracting new residents to the community located north of Akron. It's very clean and tightly bound with no glaring faults and measures 6"x9". Pages are printed on coated paper and illustrated throughout with black and white photographs. 27 pages cover all aspects of the town and why its real estate, amenities and low taxes made it a prime choice.

Very nice, clean catalog for this Virginia Christian military academy designed to prepare boys for college. Spiral bound to lie flat and brown pebbled boards with gilt to face. Measures 8"x11" and has 117 pages. No names or wriiting and pristine pages -- high quality coated paper. Liberally illustrated with black and white photographs. Curiously, there is no date, but the President of the school at this time was Colonel James Caldwell Wicker who in 1950 as head of Fork Union made a splash in educational circles with a new type of curriculum. Th s appears to be from the 50's also, but late fifties, given the fins on the large cars in the parking lot. Offers families an overview of the athletics, educational, and moral aspects of the school. A card pocket at back is empty -- likely contained application.

Very nice, clean, four-sided brochure advertising Geo. L. Wood's Sons (late Geo. L. Wood & Son) Sole Proprietors and Manufacturers of "Paragon" Varnishes patented September 23, 1884. Though there is no date, we believe it to be from 1889 judging bythe testimonial at back stating how well the product withstood a Pennsylvania flood. Only fault is two horizontal creases. Attractive cover design shows horse and horseshoe. Inside explains properties of both the exterior and interior versions of the varnish, while back is reserved for testimonials. Measures 9-1/2" tall and 10-3/4" when open.

Clean blue card cover printed in back with gold medallion stating the year of 1940. Tied with gold cording and tassel. Measures 5"x7-3/4" and is likewise clean inside. In addition to the usual signatures and filled-in info about the class, there is a charming array of calling cards each slipped into its own designed spot -- a total of 14. At the back there is also a special pocket for momentos in which is found a handwritten menu for the class banquet which was held at the Lake Shore Hotel. In addition to pertinent info about the event, there is also a crisp folded coaster from the hotel. This menu measures 4-1/2"x6" is covered with ribboned tied black paper featuring a cut-out design of a boat on water. The previous owner was Florence Marie Conant.

It measures a whopping 10x14-1/4" and is clean as a whistle inside and out, marred only two small errant red marks to bottom front at gilt. Poems and stories abound, but it's the art and the ads that take the breath away. All are gloriously frameable if you can bear to cut the magazine. This edition is especially interesting due to its article on the post office packet service and the gorgeous paintings and history of Plymouth. Magazine has been beautifully preserved . If you love art and/or England it truly doesn't get any better than this.

Four beautiful, as new books, each dedicated to a different aspect of Asian travel. They were printed in 1976 and 1977 and issued as a set in '77. The books each have 23 pages and are lavishly illustrated with gorogeous color photography, but also much text. They measure 8-1/2" high and 12" across and fit neatly into their original decorative envelope. The envelope shows wear at corners, but is otherwise clean and nice. Topics are entertainment, shopping, travel, and food. All cover other Asian countries in addition to Japan.

Begins with a biography of P.H. Ling, 1776-1839, founder of Swedish gymnastics and proceeds with two article in Sweidsh, one of which appears to be about the head of gymnastics program. All participants from both teams listed and several song lyrics follow. Ads at back. 32 pages.
