We rarely offer ex-library books, but this one is worthy of an exception. Very clean and nice with little wear. There is one sticker to spine, a clean card pocket at back, and minimal stamping. Outer edges and spine have been reneforced with a clear tape to prevent excess wear. Pages and page edges are pristine -- clearly this one circulated very little. Illustrated throughout with drawingfs and excellent, large black and white photographs. Vases show a variety of forms and are arranged by geographical area. These include the Greek mainland, the Greek islands, unclassified Eastern Mediterranean and Greek, south Italy, central Italy, and provincial Roman Gaul and the Rhineland. 135 pages. Includes Corncordance.

Very nice, clean, tightly bound book covered with clear rigid plastic cover for safekeeping. Only fault is sunning to edges of wraps and most especially to spine. Light toning to page edges. Photo illustrated. Concerns the Akkadian tablets purchased shortly after WWI by Lt. Col. J.H. Patterson of the British Army of Occupation in Iraq, which he then dontated to the museum in 1925. The tablets are of historical and anthropological interest, as they were written in a dialect of the Old Akkadian language and date back over four thousand years. With the exception of two letters and some school tablets, the rest concern legal, business and administrative texts. 338 pages.

Crisp, clean booklets -- five in all, each covering a different prehistoric culture of the southwest of the United States. They're beautifully designed both inside and out and manage to bring much information to the collective 75 pages which also contain handsome phoptographs and art. Booklets measure 9" square and have 15 pages each. The only defect is a small, light stain at the bottom edge of the pages of Hohokam which gets lighter and lighter. Overall a nice set. See photo of stain.
