The Mansfield Old Building Handbook: A Guide to Architectural Styles and Rehabilitation Techniques, Williams, Judith B.
14 Williams, Judith B. The Mansfield Old Building Handbook: A Guide to Architectural Styles and Rehabilitation Techniques
Chicago Historic Preservation Commission of Mansfield 1988 Presumed First Soft Cover Fine David Butler; Ruth Leonard Design
This is an outstanding booklet. I've never seen it before, but I got it last week thinking it was new, which it is not. It was published in 1988. Much time, effort, and creativity ended in a guide which explains architectural types of homes and buildings in Mansfield and Richland County and has photos for each. There's also information on repairs of roofs, foundations, gutters, siding and more, all of which offer either photos or drawings. What I like best about this booklet though is the art -- it's gorgeous and there are several examples including a fold-out at the back of book. The guide measures 7-1/4" x 10"and has 44 pages plus fold-out.
