Braden on Shooting and Shotguns; A Personal Bias, Braden, Bob
14 Braden, Bob Braden on Shooting and Shotguns; A Personal Bias
Houston, Texas Self-Published 1985 Second Edition Soft Cover Very Good 4to - over 9" - 12" tall
Very hard to find book which is surprising as this is the second edition and Braden co-authored Lock, Stock and Barrel: Making an English Shotgun with Cyril Adams who wrote the preface to this one. The book has card covers and a plastic comb binding and is very clean and tightly bound. It was SIGNED and inscribed by Braden thus, "To --------- who doubtlessly knows more about the subject than I. Good shooting, Bob Braden." The book appears to perhaps have had a second owner as well because there is a small white sticker with initials and the date 1990 on the front cover masking what appears to be the removal of a price sticker which caused an abrasion, as you can see a sliver of color loss just above it. Otherwise book is without fault. Eleven short chapters cover the importance of style, gun mounting, lead and the left hand, footwork, three shooting flaws and more. Illustrated with black and white photos.
