Published to accompany an exhibit which was in Toronto from Sept. 27 to October 26, 1969 and in Montreal from Nov.5 to Dec. 14, 1969. Measures 7-1/2"x10-1/4" and is illustrated throughout with both black and white photographs and drawings. TEXT is in both ENGLISH and FRENCH. The exhibit concentrated on two major point -- art which is unconventional and even jarring and art owned by corporations such as Benson & Hedges, Canada. Various artists. Catalog shows a bit of toning to page edges, but is otherwise clean and tightly bound with no names or writing.

Both books are clean as a whistle with no names or writing. Where To Stay in Nova Scotia measures 6"x8-1/2" and has 38 pages, plus index. Very nice color map at center. Nova Scotia; Canada's Ocean Playground measures 7-1/2"x 10-1/4" and is beautifull illustrated with full page color photos on every right hand page. 62 pages. Altogether a nice addition to the vintage travel collection.

All are postally unused and showing no writing of any kind. Crisp with sharp corners and pristine on both sides. Divided backs on all. Each has a number next to caption and these are as follows: 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27. Views include: Toronto waterfront and skyline; Casa Loma, Bay Street looking north, Pike Memorial at Fort York, the lagoon at Centre Island, Osgoode Hall, University of Toronto, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Harbor and skyline, Old Fort York, City Hall, Parliament buildings, Princes Gates C.N.E., Yonge Street, Queen Elizabeth Monument, Hart House, Pool & Beach Sunnyside, Trinity College, and the Peace Memorial. One page has a small stain. Pages are evenly browned. Former owner's name and state written in pencil. Essays discuss Quebec, Montcalm & Wolfe, Toronto, insects, snakes, fish, wolves, the aurora borealis, sugar making, Indian tribes, torandoes, Niagra and much more. 408 pages

There are no names or writing either. Only fault is some foxing to the top part of the upper ourter magins on the two pages on 176 and 177. Otherwise it's clean and tightly bound. The novel is set in Canada. Book measures 5-1/4" x 7-1/2" and has 224 pages.

Beautiful program from Canada's 1960 Stratford Shakesperean Festival. Clean and colorful with beautiful color art depicting costuming and plentiful black and white photos. It's clean as a whistle inside and out and measures 8-1/2"x 11". Other than a tiny crease to lower front corner and some rubbing to color at back, it's without fault. The plays that year were King John, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet. Fun to find that Julie Harris played Blanche in King John and Chrstopher Plummer Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. Please note that they are depicted in different roles than those in which they were cast for the festival.In addition to Shakespeare, audiences enjoyed a production of H.M.S. Pinafore; the sweet strains of the National Festival Orchestra; a film festival featuring "Sons and Lovers", based on the D.H, Lawrence novel of the same title, and "Hiroshima Mon Amour." There was also an exhibit of Western Canadian Indian art. Nice piece of theatre ephemera.

Very nice copy. Bright blue boards are quite clean with bright gilt at face and just a small bit of wear to corners and crown and tail of spine. Endpapers are likewise clean with no cracking to hinges. Pages have toned only faintly and book is nicely fitted with a clear rigid-plastic cover.Measures 7"x8-1/2". The author was president of the New Brunswick Historical Society at the time of, writing shortly before the province's centennial celebration, and was considered the utmost authority on its history. He begins with the arrival of the Loyalists who departed New York after the American Revolution and proceeds forward, the text nicely accompanied by drawings of important people and sites. There is also a map at the front. Especially interesting to anyone pursuing geneaology are the lists in the back of the book of land grantees in both Parr Town and Carleton in 1783. 119 pages.
