	1.	Hawthorne, Nathaniel Mosses from an Old Manse (Complete in One volume) New York Hurst & Company Hard Cover Very Good No DJ, as Issued 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall An exceptionally nice copy. Burgundy boards show almost no wear and feature an attractive blindstamped design to face. Top edge of pages gilded and there is handsome gilt printing and decoration at spine. Portait of Hawthorne at frontis. Book shows no publication date but previous owner wrote his name in a fine hand and dated it May, 1905. Presentation copy, as indicated by a small printed card laid-in. There is absolutely no foxing, no cracking to hinges and not even any toning to pages. Very handsome indeed.
