Looks most handsome in mylar cover. The author's second novel zeroes in on the gritty, and very real, life of big city police. Story begins when an old man rises off a park bench, goes to a Brooklyn candy store, pulls a shotgun from a grimy bag and blasts the store's owner and a customer -- who happens to have been a lieutenant on the squad. Finding a motive will take some investigating, but Lt. Anthony Scanlon is up to the task.374 pages. Price: 10.00 USD
