Price: $45.00

Quantity: 1 available

Excellent condition designed without dustjacket. Paper over boards construction with laminated surface. Measures 9-1/4"x12-1/4" and is clean as a whistle inside and out. Printed in sepia ink to match outer design. Heavily illustrated. Brown ribbon marker laid-in. Hard-to-find, as book was sold out and sold only by the author. Aa treasure for the right person, but is it not a how-to, or a general information guide to rendezvousing -- that is, historical reenactment of the Fur Trade era. It's more akin to a yearbook where if you are part of the band of reenactors east of the Mississippi and you take your vacation in places like Lancaster, Woodbury, Vincennes, Friendship, Prairie du Chien and at the Old North West or the Eastern, you can open the pages and see your friends, and maybe yourself, living history. It's full of memories, snippets of history, and lots of pictures of good times and the effort it takes to live in another era.Book is signed by author on title page thus, "To --------, Here's to Rendezvous! Yours in Spirit! Ava Francesca, September, 1996" 176 pages.
