Very nice little book which I have never seen despite having lived in Medina for 35 years and been a bookseller for 17 of them. It was published to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the church October 17, 1937. The author, Henry King Shaw, was a member of the History Committee along with Mrs. Grace Miner, Charles C. Kenyon, Mrs. Howard Dailey, Mrs. Perlea Damon, Elbridge F. Gibbs and Miss Jane Arndt. I believe this history is not about the U.C.C. chruch, but the Discriples of Christ. A photo shows one of the committee members in a grouping of Disciples of Christ members. Several historical photographs are included and much information about the religious history of all early local denoiminations. Book is clean and tightly bound with a few brown spots (foxing) to a random photo edge and a few light ones at back endpapers. Book measures 5-1/2"x8" and has 126 pages plus back matter relating to the anniversary.
