Book is clean and bright with a few small glitches to top front edge of cover only. There is a small (quarter inch) slit at upper top corner near spine which has been reglued along spine edge and is holding nicely, a crease to middle of top edge and a small crease to upper front corner. Othewise the book is crisp and attractive with no names or writing and pristine pages and page edges. An exhaustive study of the furniture of Portsmouth, New Hampshire which can properly take its place with that of Newport, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York as some of the finest in America.
