Very nice booklet which is quite hard to locate, as it was confined to just 100 copies in this form. Tells the story of the second settler of Westchester County, New York who settled there in 1642 and died the following year. The booklet has a wonderful color map at front, plus a fold-out map at the center and a few full page black and white photographs of the area. Booklet also tells of the burning of the village of White Plains. Measures 6"x9" and has 43 pages. SIGNED and inscribed by author at top of front cover as was often done . It reads thus, "To my friend Hadaway, O.Hufeland 10/2/30."
