Original magazines bound in modern blue buckram. Exterior is clean as a whistle i with gilt printing to spine. Magazine shows mild foxing to coversand some wear -- there is also a tear to top of one page repaired with archival tape -- but pages are otherwise clean and attractive. Great ads and all magazine covers present. Topics include the town of Pomfret, New Britain in the days of the Revolution, Reservoir Park in West Hartford, early Connecticut printing, the town of Canaan, old time music and musicians, the axe and how it's made, Bacon Academy, Edward Sheffield Bartholomew, the town of Litchfield, notes by an Ohio pioneer from 1788-89, and the Grove Street Cemetery.
