The Legend; The Story of Neengay, an Ojibway War Chief's Daughter and the Irishman John Johnston (A Libretto)

By: Lewis, Janet

Price: $20.00

Quantity: 1 available

This booklet is crisp and clean enough to be called like new. VERY nice. It does not contain the musical score -- it's the words set to the music which were based on the author's novel "The Invasion", and before that on the legend of the romance between an Objibway chief's daughter and an Irish trader, set against the backdrop of the Great Lakes area. A special page pasted in at front shows that the operetta/oratorio was performed in 1987 by the Cleveland Chamber Symphony. Booklet measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and has 62 pages. The composer is Bain Murray.
