Crisp, lovely copy of a very beautiful book printed on high quality glossy paper and lavishly illustrated throughout. No spine crease or markings, including to page with promotional bookplate. Slipcase is likewise clean and attractive, but does show wear at bottom opening, including a small tear to paper, but this has been neatly reglued to prevent further damage. Book was printed as part of an important exhibit for the 1984 Olympic Arts Festival which featured over 120 paintings on loan from Paris. Includes maps and many double pictorial spreads, as well as extensive text. 375 pages.
