Very nice copy -- clean as a whistle inside and out with no names or writing. Dustjacket shows small bit of wear to upper corners, but no tears or chips and is most handsome in brand new mylar cover. Quarto-sized at 10" tall. Printed on high quality glossy paper and lavishly illustrated in both black and white and color -- 139 pieces of sculpture and paintings ranging from early ceramic sculptures through late 19th century paintings. Ample text discusses the Japanese reality movement. 292 pages. Accompanying the book is the exhibit booklet published by the Cleveland Museum of Art dated 1983. This is 5"x7" printed in shades of brown and has 30 pages. It. too, is clean as a whistle with crisp paper. Only fault is tiny spot to front. [ ASIAN ART SHELF 2 ]
