Very nice, clean book sporting a handsome beveled edge and gilt printing to face and spine. Top edge gilded. Measures 5"x7" and has no names or writing. Pages very clean. Harvey Rice hailed from Cleveland, Ohio, a lawyer, poet, author, and newspaperman who served in both the House and Senate as a Democrat where he introduced legislation for the formation of a public school system and a library ststem for the state. Rice also founded the newspaper which ultimately became the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
