Cream colored boards are pristine due to protection from original glassine wrapper. The latter shows a few edge tears and fits rather loosely, but is clean and whole. Book further protected by slipcase which shows corner wear and light soil, but is still very sturdy. A scarce book focusing on the work of Isoya Yoshida who worked in a style called sukiya, which combines elements of traditional Japanese architecture and modernist architecture. He was best known for designing timber houses and his early use (from the 1950's) of concrete in public buildings. Book's foreword is in English, but bulk is comprised of black and white photographs with Japanese captions.120 pages plus back matter.
