Very nice clean book with no bumps to boards and no names or writing. Not often seen in this edition. A very handsome bookplate (see photo) on front pastedown indicates that it had at one time belonged to the Huntington Free Library and Reading Room, Museum of the American Indian. It also shows this on a small embossed circle on title page. No egregious library marks. Book is illustrated with wonderful drawings of artifacts as well as black and white photographs at back of text. Book is a monograph on the excavations performed in a single place in the central Peruvian highlands. Book measures 7"x9-3/4" and has 121 pages plus plates.
