Clean and tightly bound book showing minor exterior wear, primarily to top edge of spine. Overall quite good. Internals are likewise clean with just a small bit of foxing to top back of front free endpaper and a few isolated spots on some pages, but most are pristine with just light toning around edges. Book measures 5"x7-1/4" and has 356 pages. Ads at back for other books, but this not a first edition. Book was originally published in 1878. Chapters cover farming as a business, natural manures, fermenting manures, management of manures. experiments with wheat, clover, barley, potatoes. etc. and much more.
