Though rather inexpensively put together, this is a genealogical gold mine with fifty biographies of Clevelanders of the day. It's comprised of a group of articles reprinted in book form. They were originally written for the Sunday Cleveland Plain Dealer and appeared throughout March, April and May, 1944. Surnames included are: Black Cary, Case, Champion, Chapin, Codrington, Coe, Collens, Cox, Crawford, Dunn, Eaton, Eide, Emerson, Frackleton, Gerhauser, Girdler, Gund, Harshaw, Holliday, Hood, Hoyt, Humphrey, Johnson, Joyce, Klumph, Kulas, Ladds, Leece, Lewman, Lincoln, Martin, Mather, McCrea, McIntyre, Ogelbay, Otis, Reedall, Rivitz, Rogers, Rossiter, Sears, Smith, Stilwell, Weatherhead, Weaver, White, Woodruff and Wysor. Book measures 7"x10" and has 119 pages bound with a plastic comb. There's a drawing for each subject and lots of anecdotes. Small stain to lower edge of frotn board only fault.
