Very clean, nice book, very likely issued with no dustjacket. No names or writing and no defects of note. Measures 5-1/2" x 9-1/4" and has 233 pages. Book was originally published in 1898. So -- what then is a bibliotaph? A bibliotaph, it seems, is a collector run amok. He buys so many books there is no room to display them all which in the end means that he can't access most of them. There are other biblios in this book too, plus some literary commentary onThomas Hardy, the letters of John Keats, an Elizabethan novelist (no, not Jane Austen!); and Robert Louis Stevenson. Surpisingly, the voice of this book is quite fetching here in 21st century.
