Book itself is beautiful -- no defects of note. Clean and nice inside and out. The dustjacket shows tiny chips along the top front edge, but is otherwise without more of same. Only other fault is price clip to front endflap. Looks handsome in brand new mylar. Book was originally published in England under the ttle "The Stones of Le Thornet." Though a novel, it's based on historical research and is accompanied by photographs and notes. The author was a career architect who brings to the story the attributes of the Cistercian style as he assumes the voice of the builder from Provence. Book measures 5-3/4" x 8-1/2" and has 217 pages.
