All six books are in pristine condition with no names amd writing and no spine creases. Each book measure 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and has a compilation of 2414 pages! Anna Seward longed to take her place in literature, but she had many frustrations. Erasmus Darwin once printed her poetry with his name on it. Then Horace Walpole accused her of having no imagination. And to top it off she couldn't get a patron even with her talent because nobody would help a woman. The books debuted oriignally in 1811. You will find them full of letters, many "eminent figures", including Boswell. She also wrote to the newsppers and magazines.
