Exceptionally nice copy -- very clean with no writing. Dustjacket has not been price-clipped and shows no tears or chips. Only defect is rubbing to aqua color at back, but most handsome in protective mylar. Book is undated, but was published in 1960. A collection of essays written while Newman, a convert to Roman Catholicsm from Anglicanism, was rector of the then-new Catholic University of Dublin, the most frustrating time of his career. Chosen because they best illuminate Newman's philsophy on education. 310 pages.
