Very nice, clean, tightly bound book covered with clear rigid plastic cover for safekeeping. Only fault is sunning to edges of wraps and most especially to spine. Light toning to page edges. Photo illustrated. Concerns the Akkadian tablets purchased shortly after WWI by Lt. Col. J.H. Patterson of the British Army of Occupation in Iraq, which he then dontated to the museum in 1925.
