What an elegant presentation for the 1924 models of Studebaker cars. Beautiful photography and detailed descriptions of all models. The pages are made of quality coated paper and look very attractive with a light green background and ruled edges. The catalog measures 7-3/4" x 10-3/4" and has 28 pages. The green cover has embossed gilt printing which adds to the beauty. The only defect is a light dampstain to lower edges at front and back of ark green cover. It's very subtle -- I didn't notice until I was photographing. It's very nice altogether with no problem to pages which are pristine. View more info

Inside this envelope are many pristine, unused advertising products. The envelope was never mailed which is likely why everything inside is so perfect. The contents include the following: a letter to the dealer; a 1978 catalog replete with price sheet; a huge wall or window banner measuring 12" x 52"; and a counter card (10-1/2" x 14") affixed with a pad of tear-off coupons. None were used AND we have a second unused pad as well. Scarce in its entirety. View more info

The graphic design on public documents of the past turned even the most pedestrian of legal forms into art. This beautiful mine certificate issued by the Bonanza Mines Company of Colorado in 1919 would be stunning framed and hung in the office or den. This two-piece souvenir of a 1919 evening of liturgical music marks the first time in history that the choirs from the Roman Basilicas and the Vatican performed outside of Rome. The program does not indicate the city directly, but an Ohio reference on back cover and the fact that the location was St. Clair Avenue leads us to believe it had to have been Cleveland. The most important piece, however, is the larger brochure which measures 8x10" and is profusely illustrated and filled with information about the choirs and their history. Although unpaginated, we counted 24. Cover, though simple,... View more info

I grew up in Akron, Ohio home of the old and beloved Saalfield Publishing Company. The company was known for books in boxes such as this one and also its licensing for Shirley Temple books. Saalfield had novels too for older kids, so we never grew out of them until we weren't kids anymore. This particular box is new to me, but I would have loved it. The box says it contains 20 playbooks for drawing, coloring, picture hunts, riddles, connect the dots, games and mazes. Twenty it may have been, but it ended up housing 22 -- no repeats and no coloring. Fun gift! Measures 6" x 9". Books are clean a... View more info
