Studebaker Cars Catalog Big-Six and Special-Six Models (1924)

By: No Author Stated

Price: $50.00

Publisher: South Bend, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; Canada, The Studebaker Corporation of Americ: 1924

Seller ID: 23609

Condition: Very Good

What an elegant presentation for the 1924 models of Studebaker cars. Beautiful photography and detailed descriptions of all models. The pages are made of quality coated paper and look very attractive with a light green background and ruled edges. The catalog measures 7-3/4" x 10-3/4" and has 28 pages. The green cover has embossed gilt printing which adds to the beauty. The only defect is a light dampstain to lower edges at front and back of ark green cover. It's very subtle -- I didn't notice until I was photographing. It's very nice altogether with no problem to pages which are pristine. View more info

This popular 19th century newspaper is quite large at 11" across and 16-1/2" tall. It appears to have been bound with other issues at one time, as there is one section at top which remains threaded. The cover depicts the swearing in of Honorable G. Blaine as Secretary of State. Harrison had just won the presidential election, so much ink was used discussing his inaugural address, his cabinet choices, settling in with his family in the White House, the departure of Grover Cleveland, and a picture of celebratory fireworks at the Washington Memorial. The other two things that jumped out were anar... View more info

Very nice clean book measuring 6"x11" with bright attractive cover design. Only fault is one flat crease to bottom back corner. Amazing this book survived in such great condition because it was designed as an activity book in which children were encouraged to clip pictures of products from ads in the newspaper and paste them at the appropriate places in the story. Fortunately, this copy survived unscathed! Story shows the brother and sister at various times throughout the day beginning with brushing their teeth (toothplaste ad required) to a pre-bedtime game of naming trademarks. Rather odd, b...
