Small book measuring 5"x7-3/4". Tightly bound and respectable, but showing some issues including spotting to lower back board caused by moisture, scattered foxing to pages, missing front free endpaper and evidence that it, or something else, had been glued to front pastedown and later removed to show original owner's name and the date April 16, 1881. I normally would not have bought a book in this condition, but it is quite scarce and of interest to genealogists.
