Verey nice book -- clean blue-green boards with no bumps and no interior markings, or names. Measures 6-1/2"x9-1/2" and has 85 pages. The auction was held March 22, 1960 in two groupings, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening. Tightly bound and very clean with nice beveled edge to both boards. Brown cloth shows small bit of wear to corners and to crown and tail of spine, but no cracking to hinges, either fornt or back. Pages are also very clean with very light overall foxing to two blank pages at fornt and back. Fitted with a crisp plain brown dustjacket which may, or may not, be original. Pages printed on heavy paper and have not been opened. A fairly scarce book which offers a wealth of information about the Puritan courts and law from 1639-1663 from actual cases, including civil and criminal cases, and probate actions.
