Very nice book, designed in a pleasing style and tied with cording. Measures 8"x11" and has 68 pages of text and historic pohotographs. Oddly, there is no date, but it precedes 1923 because a timeline for progress on the current university construction shows that the library, the hospital and nd Wells Hall were all scheduled for completion by 1923-24. A nice look at the university, the town and the people -- even the ads are interesting. View more info

Joan Walsh Anglund was a huge hit in the 60's and 70's and still has a following today. I have sold several of her sweet little books and have a couple on here at this writing. This, however, is not a book. It's a paper doll with 12 outfits none of which have been cut. The dolls and her clothes are in great shape, the scissors is still there, and so is the stand. The only thing missing is a small tube of glue which would be dried out anyway if were there. The doll is 5" tall. The box itself measures 5-3/4" x 6". There's a few nicks here and there to the box, mostly at the edges, but not too ba... View more info
