Book itself is very clean and attractive, purchased from the estate of a collector who took excellent care of his books. The boards are not bumped and the pages are pristine with no names or writing except for the limitation box affixed to the front pastedown which is SIGNED by the author with no inscription. It's also numbered 1133. The dustjacket is quite clean and nice except for a bit of darkness to to the top of spine. I slipped it out of the mylar and it appears to be a stain. At first glance it may seem a trifle, but this magical little booklet is lovely and offers insight, warmth and entertainment in its lengthy narrative by antique clothing collector and illustrator, Charles W. Stewart who developed a lifelong passion for antique women's clothing after seeing a doll in the window of a shop at the age of five. Stewart was also a dancer for a time, as well as an art teacher.
