Very nice book kept well. Only faults are a little wear to bottom edge of boards from sliding in and out of the shelf. The dustjacket has not been price-clipped. and is very attractive with just a couple small closed edge tears which almost disappear in mylar cover, a small bit of wear to top and bottom of spine, and a small spot at back (see photos). Diana Thorne was considered one of the finest animal artists of her time.. Story is still charming with its universal theme of the love between a child and his dog. Book measures 8-1/4" x 10-1/4".
