Spine shows delicate gilt tooling, plus two title boxes, one in red and one in black. Book is Volume IX in a larger series of Bancroft's works, but here is a stand-alone title. Bindiing is tight, there's no cracking to hinges and pages and fold-out map are very clean and attractive.
