This book is so charming . Every Christmas Nutcracker ballets pop up out of the snow drifts to the delight of theater and ballet buffs. But this book contains a prologue to the beloved Nutcracker and was written by Mihail Chemiakin who has worked with the Russan ballet. There is very little text, but the art is so compelling and with the sporadic introductions the story reveals itself. The book appears to be new and , as such, would make a lovely gift.
