An enormous book which absolutely has to be this big in order to take in the wonder of the photographs. The book measures 12-1/2" tall and 14" across with page after page of duotones inside. The beauty of black and white photography and the architecture of New York collaborate to create a stunning book. There is an essay entitled New York On My Mind by Hamman written in both English, German. and French. After that though it's all about the pictorial beauty of the Big Apple. Book itself is clean and bright with no defect of note. The dustjacket is likewise clean with no tears or chip... View More...
These little German calendars are exquisitely rendered -- the art is so charming. It's in the GERMAN LANGUAGE, but is so pleasing to the eye that art trumps comprehensiion for non-German speakers. It's a small, very thin book which measures 5-1/2"x7-3/4" and is illustrated with tiny illustrations throughout. The pages aren't numbered, but I counted 22. View More...
