Joan Walsh Anglund was a huge hit in the 60's and 70's and still has a following today. I have sold several of her sweet little books and have a couple on here at this writing. This, however, is not a book. It's a paper doll with 12 outfits none of which have been cut. The dolls and her clothes are in great shape, the scissors is still there, and so is the stand. The only thing missing is a small tube of glue which would be dried out anyway if were there. The doll is 5" tall. The box itself measures 5-3/4" x 6". There's a few nicks here and there to the box, mostly at the edges, but not too ba... View More...

Technically, this is a book, but when it dates from the 50's it's also ephemeral. Lots and lots of bad things can happen over almost 60 years to an inexpensive book given to kids! It's a rather hard-to-find title which contains three stories about the Disney character, Donald Duck -- Donald Duck's Toy Train; Donald Duck's Adventure; and Donald Duck and the Witch. It's a first edition as per letter "A" found at lower corner of gutter on the last page. The book shows mild wear to extremities including a small loss of foil to spine at top and bottom, but is very clean and tightly bound. F... View More...
