A very scarce and interesting bit of ephemera. The main booklet (No. 344-A) is oversized at 8-1/2"x11". It is very clean and tightly bound. Only defect is faint dampstain and some mild crinkling to very bottom edge of pages, affecting a height of less than half an inch. Very nice, clean, tightly bound book with no names or writing. Dustjacket is missing, but book shows very little external wear. Originally published in 1952 after much research which was interrupted during the war years. By the time the book saw print the demand for housing was much geater thanks to the infusion of GIs returnig from war and seeking affordable homes. Believe it or not, the prefab house began before 1900. This is a very interesting booklet advertising contemporary windows for architectural builds. Two pages have new information stapled over the material beneath it. The original was also red X'd, but you can still read that too (see photo). Actually it's a good thing because it shows company momentum.T he drawings are really attractive and all eight pages (not counting the x-d ones) are filled with it. Nice catalog with additional supplement laid-in. Oddly, not dated, but catalog 19 was issued in 1924. Measures 7-1/4"x10-1/4" and is tightly bound with no names or writing. Pictures of the company at front and numerous bold images of products with descriptions.128 pages. Supplement is the same size printed without the card cove of the larger catalog and contains 14 pages.
